About Us
The State University of Applied Sciences in Przemyśl (SUAP in Przemyśl) is an emerging institution, having been established in 2001, it has quickly established a reputation for high-quality practical education. In 2018, SUAP in Przemyśl was granted the status of a university of applied sciences, meeting all the conditions required for vocational universities of this status by the Polish Law on Higher Education. Previously, it operated under the names State Higher Vocational College in Przemyśl (2001-2006) and State Higher East European College in Przemyśl (2006-2022).
SUAP in Przemyśl offers full-time studies in a variety of fields, including social sciences, humanities, medicine, art, design and engineering. These programs are offered at the bachelor’s, engineering and master’s levels. SUAP in Przemyśl is well-regarded by students and has won numerous awards in independent standings. It has ranked first among vocational universities in the Podkarpacie region in the “Perspektywy” ranking for the third time. Additionally, the Minister of Education and Science has awarded SUAP in Przemyśl four times as part of the Didactic Excellence Initiative for effective teaching activities in the field of practical education.
The mission of SUAP in Przemyśl is to educate specialists for the economy and society of the future. The main task of SUAP in Przemyśl is to conduct teaching activities with a practical profile, in cooperation with the socio-economic environment. This is in accordance with the Polish Law on Higher Education and Science of 20 July 2018.
The organizational structure of SUAP in Przemyśl is directly related to its didactic activities. The two main organizational units are the Faculty of Social Sciences, Humanities and Health Care and the Faculty of Technical Sciences and Design Arts.
